Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system is a funds transfer mechanism where transfer of money takes place from one member bank to another on a “real time” and on “gross” basis. This is the fastest possible money transfer system through the banking channel. Our Bank provides RTGS facility through our bankers viz HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, etc.

Ceiling in amount for RTGS transaction
The RTGS system is primarily for large value transaction.
The minimum amount to be remitted through RTGS is Rs. 2 Lacs.
There is no upper ceiling for RTGS transaction

Transaction hours
The RTGS service for customer’s transactions is available from 10.30 to 16.00 for all working day...

Time limit for credit
The beneficiary bank credits the beneficiary’s account within two hours of receiving the funds transfer message.

The essential information required for RTGS remittance
The remitting customer has to furnish the following information to a bank effecting a RTGS remittance:
  • Amount to be remitted.
  • His/her account number which is to be debited.
  • Name of the beneficiary bank.
  • Name of the beneficiary customer.
  • Account number of the beneficiary customer.
  • Sender to receiver information, if any.
  • The IFSC code of the receiving branch.

Push Functionality (Generally Sent By Bank itself)
Bank is sending SMS for:
  • Pending cheques for clearance.
  • Account overdrawn.
  • Greeting Messages.
  • Debit / Credit Transaction for the day.
  • Inward / Outward clearing Returns.
  • Outward clearing Returns.
  • Interest charged to Loan a/cs.
Rules and Regulations:
  • Bank shall provide SMS service to only those accounts holders whose mobile phone nos., are registered with the bank. (Please Download the form)
  • Bank shall take care in sending SMS to customer’s mobile phone, but does not accept any responsibility / liability whatsoever arising out of non-receipt of SMS by the customer, due to failure on the service provider or for any other reason.
  • The account holder must intimate any change/loss in the mobile number to the bank immediately.
  • Normally bank is not bound to intimate the account holder non-availability of the funds in their account for honoring their cheques. The inward cheques in clearing shall be honored against clear opening balance in the account.

Reserve bank of India has introduced a system called National Electronic Funds Transfer system (NEFT) through which fund transfer operation would take place among member bank and financial institutions. Our bank is one of the participants in the above system. Our bank is providing this service through our other banks.

Objective : The objectives of the NEFT system are:
To relieve the stress on the existing paper based fund transfer and clearing system.
  • Credit to Beneficiary’s Account on the same day/next day if remittance done late in the evening.
  • Safest and secure Mode of Fund Transfer.
  • No charges for inward and outward Remittance.
  • Money can be put to use by beneficiary on the same day.
Eligibility :
Customers of Surat National Co-op. Bank Ltd can send/receive remittances under NEFT scheme to / from any destination Bank/ branch which is registered with RBI’s NEFT system.
Presently more than 1,48,000 branches of 216 member banks spread across the country are participate in NEFT.

Amount Of Remittance :
There is no ceiling of minimum and maximum amount of remittance/transaction.

Credit To Beneficiary’s Account :
Credit to the beneficiary Account will be given by Beneficiary’s bank branch on the same day and in case of holiday / after business hours, credit will be given on next business date.

Weekdays: 10:00 AM TO 04:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM TO 04:00 PM (Except 2nd, 4th saturday and public Holidays)

Immediate Payment Service (IMPS)

We are pleased to announce the launching of the IMPS facility of NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) for our customers through our Mobile Banking Application - SNCB Mobile Banking.

Unlike NEFT and RTGS, the service is available 24*7 throughout the year including bank holidays. It is a platform that makes the payments possible within a fraction of seconds.

Fund Transfer/Remittance
  • Using Mobile number & MMID (P2P)
  • Using Account number & IFS Code (P2A)
Using Mobile number & MMID (P2P)
Using P2P, a customer can send/receive money using MMID & Phone number.

Sender & Receiver have to register for Mobile Banking & get a unique 7 digit code called MMID (Mobile Money Identifier). Each MMID is linked to a unique Mobile Number. Different MMIDs can be linked to same Mobile Number
  • Generation of MMID is a One-time process
  • Remitter (Sender) transfer funds to beneficiary (Receiver) using Mobile no. & 7 digit MMID of beneficiary.
Using Account number & IFS Code (P2A)
Using P2A, a customer can remit money to other bank’s accounts using account number of the beneficiary & IFS Code of the branch where beneficiaries account exist. IFS Code is a 11 digit alphanumeric number, available in the user's Cheque book.

Rules to Keep Your ATM Transactions Safe & Secure :
  • Never keep the PIN with the debit card or write on it. Always memorize it.
  • Change your ATM PIN regularly.
  • Do not throw your transaction slip in the ATM room as it contains your account information.
  • Do not provide the ATM card and PIN details to anyone, including Bank, RBI, Govt. agency, family, friends etc. Bank or any other institution will never ask for this information.
  • Do not let strangers come in to the ATM room or take their help to complete the transactions.
  • Block and destroy your old card, when you get a new one. Register your mobile number at the Branch to get SMS alerts for all transactions

Who can use WhatsApp Banking Service?
  • The customer is an individual and is a major.
  • The customer is having at least one operative account (Savings / Current / CC-OD) as a main holder.
  • The customer has registered its Indian Mobile Number with the bank.
  • Non-customers will be provided limited services such as viewing Deposit and Loan/Advances Interest rates.
How does WhatsApp Banking work?
